I’m afraid this is the one permutation which proves most difficult. If you don’t have the original import paperwork for your Deluge, as soon as it is sent back to you, your customs officials will treat as importing it for the first time. It doesn’t matter what we say, they will treat it as the first time entering the country and apply import costs on the full value of the Deluge.
We are trying to think of ways how we can make this more affordable. At this stage we’re doing research to find out how many people are affected by this and where they are. We are exploring ideas such as sending a tech on a small tour to a few countries where there are enough people to warrant setting up a temporary office for a few days and taking care of local devices there.
